THE TWO NEW PAVILIONS AT THE RIMINI EXHIBITION CENTRE ARE READY
The two new temporary pavillions have been completed on schedule and will expand the Rimini exhibition centre, together with the future large dome on the west side, adding 8,300 square metres of exhibition space for events organised by the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG).
The project also includes a new East Hall, ready to welcome exhibitors and visitors starting with Ecomondo, scheduled from 5 to 8 November.
In the last few days, the final work was carried out, and as of today the structures are ready for set-up for the opening of Ecomondo, an event that will officially inaugurate the two new halls B8 and D8, directly connected to the twin halls B7 and D7.
The overall coordination of the works was handled by IEG’s Rimini Operations Team, under the leadership of Mirco Zamponi, with mijic architects responsible for design supervision and security. The foundation preparation was carried out by Pesaresi, while the temporary structures were installed by German company HTS.
The systems, designed by Polistudio, were realised by the company F.lli Franchini, with the consultancy of Studi TI for safety and Studio Sarti for the structural part.
