The project contemplate the urban upgrading of the historical “Parco Fellini” connecting it with the city through an axial strengthening of the street ‘Principe Amedeo’. The existing traffic roundabout will be transformed into a pedestrian area, while the old “Kursaal”, historically devoted to the body health and wellness, (demolished in 1947) will be reinterpreted in a contemporary way, proposing a new “Wellness Pier”. This new urban element along the seashore reinterpretates the old “Chinese Pagoda”, once located on the seafront  as the first public seaside resort of the Riviera. The “Wellness Pier” represents our contemporary

interpretation of what seaside architecture should be nowadays, i.e. a place where to stay and relax along with inner spaces with functions that should strengthen the vocation of an important Wellness area available to everyone (little gyms, bars, small yacht clubs etc.).
