NEW ELDERLY HOUSE

Due to the lot conformation, the building for the new Social Centre in Dobbiaco, follows a L-shape.
The central element of this compact volume is the hall occupied by a lounge and a West-oriented “winter-garden”, which allows both the distribution of functions inside the building than a common place for users. The differentiated shape of the building admits possible and oriented view. Various outdoor facilities find place in the complex, from the perimetric path, to the winter garden and the elderly roof garden.

The position of the entrance in the southwestern side, allows the visitors coming from the city centre to see the laboratories before entering the building. A wide central distribution core conducts the users to an upper distribution area, from which thanks to wide and unparallel corridors, they enjoy a qualified interior space.
