NEW FAIR COMPLEX OF SARDINIA

The project proposal for the new International Fair of Sardinia in Cagliari has the intent to create a modern trade and congress center. In order to guarantee the requested program  insight the existing fair area, functions  have been compacted , providing a large parking place for visitors at  level  0. At Level 1 are placed the congress and exhibition areas. This design choice grants both visual and functional connection with the nearby Waterfront area. The project aims is to make a weld between the project area and the Waterfront.

The bridge that exceed the highway on level 1, creates new spatial and visual relationships, reducing  the distances to the opposite  sea front, to enhance the intrinsic potential, such as the placing of accommodation structures  and harbour areas, that can be used for boat exhibitions.
